Recover Central America picks up climate and nature award
17/10/2025
The joint venture, formed earlier this year, was recognized “as a transformative model for textile-to-textile circularity in the Americas”. The partnership builds on Recover’s cotton fibre recycling technology and Intradeco’s vertically integrated manufacturing platform. Together they have established Recover Central America in El Salvador. Located in the CAFTA region, the circular hub allows reduced lead times and shipping emissions while offering a fully traceable and ethical source of recycled cotton.
The 2025 event also recognised Pablo Roberto Borrelli, co-founder of Ovis 21, as the Ryan Young Climate Leader Award. James Brodie received the Regenerative Land Leadership Award and Victoria’s Secret and Alabama farm partners, the Collaboration in Action Award.
