Kontoor Brands has announced the appointment of C.J. King as general manager for Helly Hansen North America and the sport sector. He reports to Børre Hegbom, global head of the Norwegian brand. 

Mr King was most recently global commercial lead for Arc’teryx. He has held senior positions at Smartwool, Pearl Izumi and The North Face.

“C.J. brings a proven ability to lead high-performing commercial organisations, build connections with technical outdoor consumers and translate premium brand strength into sustainable growth. His experience will be instrumental as we strengthen Helly Hansen’s position in the U.S., the world’s largest outdoor market,” commented Mr Hegbom.
