Première Vision to launch online B2B platform

22/09/2017
The Première Vision Group, which organises the Première Vision exhibition, has announced the creation of a new online marketplace that will allow its exhibitors to sell their products to buyers throughout the year.

The platform, which it plans to launch in the second half of 2018, will feature all the product categories offered at the exhibition, including fabrics, leathers, accessories, denim and yarns.

Exhibitors will be able to sell selected products from their collections and buyers will have free access to the marketplace, although registration will be required. It will allow the typical transactions that take place on the exhibition floor to be prolonged beyond the events themselves.

A new company, Première Vision Digital, has been created to manage the platform. It will be headed by Gaël Séguillon, an experienced e-commerce and business development executive.

In the medium-term, the Première Vision Group has said it aims to welcome 1,500 companies and 70,000 products to the platform. It also wants to build a database of 250,000 potential buyers.
