WFSGI appoints new communications manager

The Lausanne-based World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) has appointed Marius Widmer as its new communication and marketing manager, replacing Segolene Rouillon. Before joining the WFSGI, Mr Widmer was the media coordinator of the International Table Tennis Federation where he managed media issues at the Olympic Games and several world championships.

WFSGI secretary general, Robbert de Kock, says: “Marius has the skills and power to bring the communication and marketing activities of the WFSGI to a new level. His experience and education are the perfect match for our federation.”
