Grants available for UK outdoor companies to attend trade shows

Grants of up to £1,500 are available to companies taking part in ISPO in Munich from January 16-19. This represents an increase of 50% on the sums previously available. And for the first time, grants (of up to £2,500) are available to companies wishing to travel to China to exhibit at ISPO Beijing from February 19-22.
Encouraging eligible member companies to consider applying the chief executive of the UK Outdoor Industry Association (OIA), Andrew Denton, said: “Exhibiting and attending trade shows can be very important for businesses, but the costs can be prohibitive. I really hope that we can help some UK companies to access these grants and guarantee their appearances at the ISPO shows in Munich and Beijing. They are influential shows that can set the industry agenda at the start of the year, so we are always pleased to see members attend.”
Companies aiming to secure a grant for Munich have to apply by November 30. More information is available from the OIA, info@theoia.co.uk.
