Outdoor Industry Association revamps board

The US-based Outdoor Industry Association has elected four new members to its board:
Joe Butler, owner of Black Creek Outfitters; Rue Mapp, CEO of Outdoor Afro; Tracy Mayer, chief operating officer of Backcountry North; and Lisa Pike Sheeny, vice-president of environmental activism at Patagonia.

The board also named Gordon Seabury, CEO of Toad&Co, as chair. He is joined by Travis Campbell, president and CEO of Far Bank Enterprises, as vice chair and treasurer; Nora Stowell, vice president of sales at Amer Sports, as vice chair; and Catherine Walker, senior vice president and general counsel at REI, as secretary.
