Emana Denim jeans go on show at Barcelona event

Partners Solvay and Fulgar will attend the Denim by Première Vision exhibition in Barcelona on May 21-22 to show off the first pair of jeans made with Emana Denim, a smart polyamide yarn with bioactive minerals that the producers say will aid body care and reduce the signs of cellulite.

Emana Denim had its official release in Brazil during Fashion Rio in 2013 in association with Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch and recently got a patent protection from the European Patent Office for the applications of the Emana smart fibre.

Emana Denim absorbs heat from the human body and returns it as far-infrared radiation. These rays interact with the body and stimulate blood circulation. Studies carried out by Solvay have shown that the effects of this fibre range from increased skin elasticity to reduced signs of cellulite.
