German sports brand chooses far-infrared technology
09/02/2015
Emana is based on specially treated inorganic charges embedded in the polymeric matrix of the microfibre filaments. These charges emit FIR in specific wavelengths, promoting biostimulation in the skin, acting as a fibroblasts growth factor and stimulating nitric oxide synthesis which enhances microcirculation, according to its makers.
Daniela Antunes, a developer manager for Emana, said: “CEP and Emana share the same mission: pushing the performance parameters as far as possible to achieve excellence. We know sport is a demanding sector and we fulfil this demand with our commitment to scientific research.”
CEP is part of Medi, a leading manufacturer in the healthcare industry and specialises in socks, tops and sleeves.
