Fulgar plans to educate consumers

Italian yarn producer Fulgar is launching hangtags to add to apparel to “inform the market of the value of Made in Italy”.

It said the aim is to provide the consumer with more information about the origin of its fibres, the performance of nylon 6.6 and the sustainability of its production.

The company is also teaming up with chemical company Solvay at the end of the month to present Emana - a polyamide 6.6 yarn with bioactive mineral crystals - to attendees of the Denim by Premiere Vision trade show in Barcelona.
