Kipas partners with Fulgar on new collection
Turkish denim manufacturer Kipas has launched its new collection at the Denim Première Vision fair in Barcelona. The AW1718 range uses yarns from Italian manufacturer Fulgar.
Fulgar’s Q-Nova, a new 6.6 Nylon microfiber made from 99% regenerated raw materials, was used to make the denim fabric in Kipas’ ‘Peta’ product. The fibre uses recycled nylon which reduces CO2 emissions, water consumption and energy required. The Q-nova makes the denim soft, light and comfortable against the skin.
‘Lana’ makes use of Fulgar’s Evo Yarn, which is OEKO-TEX® STD 100 certified. It is derived 100% from biological sources and has very low global potential warming impact. This yarn produces denim with good breathability and high levels of moisture wicking making it cool and comfortable.
