Invista and Garmon present denim collection

Fibre producer Invista and denim finishing house Garmon have teamed up to create a collection of knit denim concept garments. The development is being presented at the Kingpins Denim Show in New York.

The collection features fabrics made with Invista’s Lycra Hybrid technology and Garmon’s latest finishing techniques which include chemical formulations assessed by the Clean Production Action’s GreenScreen for Safer Chemicals programme.

“We are very excited to demonstrate the finishing options available with Lycra Hybrid technology,” said Jean Hegedus, global segment director for denim at Invista.

“Given Garmon’s unique chemical processes and Italian inspired design, we felt they would be the perfect company to help us with this initiative,” she added.
