Miami edition of Kingpins denim show cancelled

The organisers of the Kingpins denim trade fairs have announced that the inaugural Miami edition, which was due to take place on January 11 and 12, has been cancelled.

Plans for the launch of a Miami leg of the show were announced in May 2016. This has now been shelved due to a lack of interest. 

"It's really an unfortunate situation for us to cancel the show, but it would be more unfortunate for us to go and not have a full house," explained Andrew Olah, founder of the Kingpins Show. “It seems our dates were unsuitable and we have no problem to admit our misunderstanding."

The first Kingpins event of the year will now be the bi-annual Kingpins Amsterdam on April 19 and 20. That will be followed by shows in New York and Hong Kong in May.
