Fulgar displays its sustainability credentials at Milan exhibition

Yarn manufacturer Fulgar is currently taking part in ‘Textile Evolution – Made in Italy 4.0’, an exhibition that aims to encourage research, design creativity and sustainability in the Italian textile sector. 

It is taking place from November 16-28 at the Fabbrica del Vapore complex in Milan. The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between export promotion body ICE and the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT), among others. 

There are a range of innovative and sustainable materials on show there. Fulgar is displaying its Evo products, derived from castor oil, and its Q-Nova nylon fibre, which is made from regenerated raw materials. The group’s display area also includes products made using Fulgar material from sportswear brand Sease and from specialist warp knit fabric manufacturer Cifra.

Fulgar’s marketing manager, Alan Garosi, will deliver a presentation entitled ‘Biosynthetics, a new generation of man-made fibres – from plant to nylon’, with a focus on Eco.
