Fulgar highlighted as OekoTex’s company of the month

Italian yarn manufacturer Fulgar has been named OekoTex company of the month.

The polyamides maker was founded in 1980 in Castel Goffredo, Mantua, as a supplier to local textile companies in the former hosiery district.

Its Q-NOVA microfiber, made of 99% recycled nylon 6.6, is “extremely light, comfortable and very good at absorbing moisture”, said marketing manager Alan Garosi.

“Q-NOVA shows our commitment to the environment is not solely based on statutory regulations but that it also represents one of the basic principles of the Fulgar policy."

The group has subsidiaries in Sri Lanka and Serbia and a sales office in Turkey.
