As part of its revamped outdoor sector, due to launch for spring-summer 2015, Adidas has created a shoe in collaboration with Continental tyres that it says will enable running on mountain bike trails.

The Terrex X KING uses a rubber compound that is heat-pressed directly into the upper mesh for stability and weight reduction.

Exchangeable midsoles allow runners to tune the performance character of the shoe – from racing to recovery and it also features the Boost insole.
