Global expansion for Coolcore

Chemical-free cooling technology maker Coolcore has added new distributors in Asia, Oceana and Latin America, markets that are “crucial to global expansion plans”, according to CEO Kevin McCarthy.

Under its Dr Cool brand, it will diversify away from wristbands with the launch apparel and towels next year. The technology has been used by Mission Athletecare and IAMMAI and the group has been nominated as “Most Innovative Small Company” in the upcoming Future Material Awards.

“As consumers become more sophisticated in their product knowledge, they demand more performance from their apparel and accessory items,” said Nick Skally, director of marketing for Coolcore. “Our patented, chemical-free textile innovations provide relief and are being very well received across a variety of market segments.”
