Rieter puts emphasis on after-sales business
Textile machinery maker Rieter says it is increasing its focus on after-sales and has promoted Carsten Liske to head a new division.
The plant and productions engineer has been working for the Swiss group since 2009, most recently as senior vice-president of operations of in the Spun Yarn Systems arm and has helped to develop the business in China.
Rieter is one of the world's leading suppliers of systems for short-staple fibre spinning. It runs 18 manufacturing locations in 10 countries, and employs 4,800, a quarter of whom are based in Switzerland.
