EOG welcomes its first online-only retailers

The European Outdoor Group (EOG) has signed up five new members from the retail sector, including the first online only businesses to join the association.

The companies that have been welcomed to the EOG are the Frasteya Group and Snowleader.com from France, Internetstores and FR Bergfreunde from Germany, and Swiss retailer DE Ochsner Sport.

Founded in 2003 by 19 of the world’s largest outdoor companies, the EOG now has 75 full members, plus 10 associate members.  

Last year, the EOG took the decision to accept retailers as members and several leading names from the sector have already joined. With the addition of internet only businesses, the association now has an even broader membership base, representing the whole outdoor industry across Europe.
