New CEO named for restructuring Odlo

The CEO of Odlo, Jonas Ottosson, is leaving the Swiss outdoor brand at the end of the month to return to Sweden to “take up new challenges” after three years at the helm.

Board member Christophe Bezu will take over, using experience gained at Adidas including as its director general for Asia Pacific from 2003 to 2009.

He was appointed director General for europe and emerging markets at Spirit in 2013, before joining Odlo’s board in January.

The company previously announced that Thomas Spiess, head of production, suppliers and logistics, and sales director Claes Broqvist will leave the company in the coming months as part of a management shake-up.

Thomas Rast, former director of finance, left the company in late April and was replaced by Adrian Schürmann.

Are Knut Högberg will join the group on September 1 as director of operations.

Odlo added: “As to the position of sales manager, several promising options are being studied and the company is confident that a good solution will be found quickly.”
