Thermore launches ‘breakthrough’ heat-adaptive insulation

08/07/2015
Italy’s Thermore has launched an insulation it describes as a “breakthrough” – when the weather gets colder, it provides extra warmth.

It cites independent test labs that show Thermore Thermal Booster warms by up to 20% at lower temperatures – but does not give further details on how the product works.

The smart insulation is available in two weights and uses the company’s anti-fibre migration treatment for a consistent after repeated washing cycles and heavy wear.

Thermore was founded in 1972 in Milan and has operations in the US and Asia, including production facilities in Thailand and offices in Hong Kong.
