Jeanologia launches new way of putting ‘performance’ into materials

Garment finishing technology provider Jeanologia has launched, iKnits, a new series of solutions for sportswear.

According to the Barcelona-based company, iKnits can endow raw materials, including cotton and neoprene, with performance features by applying a range of sustainable finishes.

Performance features Jeanologia can add using iKnits include enhanced moisture management. It uses technologies such as laser to apply the finishes.

Jeanologia presented iKnits formally at an industry event in New York on July 21.
