Jeanologia to present water-saving finishing process in US
Garment finishing technology provider Jeanologia is to use the upcoming Sourcing at Magic apparel sourcing fabric event in Las Vegas (August 14-17) to present its new process that minimises the use of water in jean finishing to the US market.

It says the “One Glass, One Garment” process reduces the amount of water needed to add the finish to a pair of jeans to a single glass, compared to the average 70 litres of water that are usually necessary.

Jeanologia has achieve this by combining several of its technologies, including its waterless ozone G2 and eFlow processes. It can be used in a variety of finished such as dark look, soft type rinse and natural used effects.

Enrique Silla, CEO of Jeanologia, described the process as a “milestone for the textile industry”. He added that it reduces the amount of water used by more than 90%.
