Three hundred adidas employees are moving into a new office in Germany to test “workplace concepts” that will then be rolled out group-wide.

The open design offers flexible areas, and employees no longer have designated desks. This idea is to promote collaboration and “eliminate hierarchies”.

Karen Parkin, head of HR, said: “We need a workplace that enables us to collaborate in an open surrounding that sparks new ideas and provides room for creative sessions, both mentally and physically.”

More than 3,800 work at the headquarters in Herzogenaurach.
