Denim reworked for athleisure

Italian fashion designer Adriano Goldschmied has created a new a new fabric for the athleisure sector which has some of the properties of denim – a material he is famous for working with – but is softer and more flexible.

He spent two years developing the material, Acynetic, which relies on a knitting technology without side seams, and presented the first collection during Milan and Paris fashion weeks.

The first collection of denim-like pants will be available in stores in December.
