Record numbers at Performance Days

Organisers of the Germany-based Performance Days textile show have reported record visitors (1,270) and exhibitors (138) numbers from the event at the start of November.
Visitors travelled from 31 countries.

This event’s ‘hot topic’ was athleisure, with sector-specific fabrics displayed on a separate forum table, and talks and panel discussions discussing developments.

PrimaLoft, Thermore, and Lavalan (Baur Vliesstoffe) explained developments in insulation and reflective materials.

Organisers said: “Each season, we search for the new trends that are moving the sports sector into the future and when we find them, we work together to prepare them for presentation to the public."
