FDRA praises more factories as ‘responsible manufacturers’

Four factories in China, one in the US and one in India have joined the list of suppliers the FDRA’s committee determine to be the most compliant with FDRA’s Footwear Production Code of Conduct.
The designations were given to factory owners and managers at a special reception in Dongguan, China.
FDRA chairman Rick Muskat said: “Congratulations to this year’s recipients. More and more factories are starting to follow FDRA’s code of conduct as they seek to be recognized as a Responsible Footwear Manufacturer. The cocktail reception was a great success and helped FDRA communicate effectively the importance of social compliance directly to factory owners and managers.”
The factories are:
• Remington Products Company (Wadsworth, Ohio, USA)
• Ram Fashion Exports (Mumbai, India)
• Zhongshan Glory Shoes Industrial (Zhongshan, China)
• Guangxi Seville Footwear (Guangxi, China)
• Wenzhou Taiyangshen Shoe (Wenzhou, China)
• Goddess International (Sichuan, China)
