New Balance chooses glow-in-the-dark for Beacon collection

US sportswear brand New Balance has launched a collection featuring the glow-in-the-dark elements, including capri pants, backpacks and pullovers.

The jackets and tops need a minimal charge of 10 minutes in daylight or under a light source, and the brightness will diminish over time.

Textile developers in Taiwan and elsewhere have been touting and refining these kind of developments for the past few years.
