Vibram committed to manufacturing in US

A special event is to be held at Vibram’s Quabaug Vibram Innovation (QVI) manufacturing facility in Massachusetts, US on September 16.
Vibram’s acquisition of the Quabaug Corporation in 2015 forms part of Vibram USA’s commitment to a five-year campaign, which will see investment in staff and machinery.
It plans to establish a two-year workforce education programme, expand its domestic supply chain and strengthen its product development and innovation processes to improve its presence in global markets.
Vibram says it invested $6 million in state-of-the-art machinery in 2016. This will allow for materials to be produced more quickly, reducing response times to satisfy consumer demand. The brand plans to make further investment in its materials testing and validation centre.
