Growth in revenue at Lululemon

Yogawear brand Lululemon has reported revenue of $544.4 million in the third quarter of 2016, a 13% increase on the same period of last year.

Total comparable sales increased 7% with comparable store sales up 4% and direct to consumer revenue 16% higher.

Laurent Potdevin, Lululemon CEO, said that the results “demonstrated strong execution across all areas of our business”. He added that the effort and commitment of the company’s staff is helping it to deliver on “long-term strategies”.

Lululemon said it expects revenue for the 2016 fiscal year to be between $2.32 billion and $2.34 billion.
