Yogawear brand Lululemon has promoted Celeste Burgoyne to the role of executive vice president of retail for the Americas region.

Laurent Potdevin, CEO of Lululemon, described Ms Burgoyne as a “powerful leader” who “consistently delivers exceptional results”. She added that the Americas “remains a critical part” of the brand’s future.

It is aiming to devise new ways to expand its footprint and better engage with customers in the region.
Ms Burgoyne joined Lululemon in 2006 and was most recently senior vice president for retail in North America. She previously worked at Abercrombie & Fitch.

"I am as committed as the day I joined to the concept that our stores and our retail team are the heart of this business and the magic which fuels our success,” she said, adding that she believed there were lots of “exciting opportunities ahead” for Lululemon.
