Lululemon snaps up REI’s chief information officer

The chief information officer of outdoor clothing and equipment co-operative REI, Julie Averill, is leaving the company to join Lululemon.

At the yogawear brand she will take up the role of executive vice president and chief technology officer. 

During her time at REI, Ms Averill has been responsible for leading the cooperative’s technology strategy and overall IT operations. 

REI confirmed that she would be leaving the company put made no further comment.
