Lululemon ups commitment to menswear with Toronto store

It is the brands first men’s store in Canada and its second overall, following the opening of a similar one in New York City. Lululemon expects to open several more in both Canada and the US.
The new store in Toronto, which has been dubbed ‘The Local’, is located on the city’s Ossington Avenue, the location of several other men’s retail outlets.
It features the largest selection of Lululemon menswear in Canada, with yoga, running and training gear all available. There are also items from the Lululemon Lab, the brand’s premium clothing line, which focuses on casual wear and includes cotton shirts, dress pants and jackets.
Nearly half of the store is what Lululemon calls a “community space”. It will host art events, screen sports games and host ping-ping tournaments. It also has a bar, where customers can get a complimentary coffee on arrival.
The brand’s signature red logo has been toned down to ensure the store blends in with neighbouring businesses. In its place is a small gold and black version.
