Skiing, climbing and mountain sports equipment provider Black Diamond has partnered with The Nature Conservancy, a conservation organisation that aims to protect ecologically important lands and waters.

Throughout April, Black Diamond will donate 1% of its online sales to support the work The Nature Conservancy is carrying out at Canyonlands Research Centre, a facility designed to address the most urgent challenges facing Utah, where it is located, and similar global ecosystems. It carries out research into how temperature, rainfall and land uses combine to affect the productivity and health of natural resources on the Colorado Plateau. 

It is located at the Dugout Ranch, a section of the Canyonlands National Park that Black Diamond helped The Nature Conservancy to acquire in 1996.
