Intertek opens new testing facility in Hong Kong

Testing services provider Intertek has inaugurated a new high-performance textile testing centre in Hong Kong, which it said will be “one of the best-equipped testing centres in the region”. 

The facility will offer over 200 high-performance tests and testing technology, including compression-sock testing and non-destructive down-fibre penetration resistance testing. It will also offer companies bespoke solutions so that they can meet existing and new regulations.
 
At the official opening of the facility, Christina Law, chief executive of Intertek’s North East Asia division, said it reinforced the company’s position as a leading provider of testing services. She added that it would allow companies to face the sourcing, technical and compliance challenges that come with making high-performance products.
