NPD tool to track apparel trends

Specialist research group NPD has launched a new platform designed to allow users to track and understand trends in the apparel industry.

The website, which it has called Trend Tracker, will provide access to data, insight reports and analysis from industry experts to highlight the performance of major fashion trends within the apparel industry.

“The fashion industry is rapidly changing, and consumer spending is impacted by a flurry of factors from consumer shopping behaviour and retail closures, to celebrity influencers and today’s macro trends,” explained Joh Deputato, president of US apparel at NPD. 

He said Trend Tracker would be a “powerful tool” for apparel manufacturers and retailers.
