Polygiene appoints new director for North America

Provider of odour control technology to the outdoor clothing industry Polygiene has appointed Judd Salvas to the position of director of commercial operations for North America. He will be based at Park City, Utah, but will be responsible for managing all commercial activities in North America for the Swedish company.

Chief executive, Christian von Uthmann, said he hoped Judd Salvas’ outdoor industry experience, which spans ten years, will help him grow North American sales and develop new business partners for Polygiene.

Polygiene is a bluesign-approved, silver-salt treatment for textiles. Derived from recycled content (mostly silver mostly used in electronics), Polygiene reduces the need for frequent laundering, saving water and energy, as well as time, over the lifecycle of a garment.
