New agreement expands Polygiene’s product portfolio

The agreement, which initially runs for three years, will give Polygiene access to Prebona’s patented OdorControl technology, which breaks down odour caused by bacteria on a garment. In comparison, Polygiene’s focus to date has been on preventing odour by stopping the growth of bacteria.
“For Polygiene, it is of strategic importance to offer different types of odour control technologies. Our collaboration with Prebona enables Polygiene to expand our product portfolio and present a stronger customer offering to both new and existing customers,” said Ulrika Björk, CEO of Polygiene.
For his part, Prebona CEO Orvar Otterstedt said the agreement would give the company’s OdorControl technology better penetration in the global textile market due to Polygiene’s existing relationships with leading brands.
