Polygiene to launch subsidiary in Hong Kong

The company said this move is designed to strengthen its presence in what it described as “one of the leading and most dynamic markets in the world”.
Upon making the announcement, Polygiene CEO Ulrika Björk said: “Asia is, and will continue to be, an important market ahead. Our strong presence in the area is key, and since China plays a major role, Hong Kong is the best decision both strategically and on a geographic level.”
She added that local staff already offer production support for Polygiene’s partners in Hong Kong and mainland China, but that the new subsidiary would further strengthen its position in the region.
