Polygiene confirms departure of former CEO

Odour control technology provider Polygiene has announced it has reached an agreement to terminate the employment of its former CEO, Christian von Uthmann, with immediate effect.

Mr Uthmann left his role as chief executive in January, moving across to the position of vice president of new ventures and strategies for Polygiene.

In March, Polygiene confirmed Mr Uthmann and his partner had sold more than 200,000 shares in the company. At the time, it said he intended to retain his remaining shares. 

Polygiene has explained that its chief commercial officer, Peter Sjösten, will now take on the additional responsibilities of acting vice president of new ventures and strategies.
