Change of leadership for Polygiene

Odour control technology provider Polygiene has promoted chief financial officer Ulrika Björk to the position of company CEO. She assumed the role at the end of December.

She takes over as chief executive from Christian von Uthmann, who will now fill the position of vice president of new ventures and strategies at Polygiene. The company’s board of directors explained that this decision was made to free up Mr von Uthmann to focus on sales growth. 

Meanwhile, Ms Björk will lead the company and take responsibility for financial control and organisational development. She joined Polygiene as chief financial officer in May 2017.
