Polygiene reels in new brand partners for Spring 2018

Fishing equipment and apparel brand Simms and fly fishing, hunting and outdoor clothing brand Orvis will use odour control technology from Polygiene in some of their upcoming products and collections.

Orvis’ Spring 2018 travel collection will use Polygiene’s Permanent Odour Control in eight styles. It features easy-to-care, quick-drying fabrics that are wrinkle free.

Simms will include Polygiene technology in several technical angling pieces from its Spring 2018 collection. One of these, the Solarflex Armor Shirt, will become the first technical angling shirt to incorporate Polgyiene’s Permanent Odour Control fabric treatment, the company has said.

“We have seen consistent growth with our current brand partners increasing the role of Polygiene in their product lines as well as new brands adopting our technology,” said Colleen Nipkow, Polygiene’s global marketing director. “With lifestyles developing around the sports we serve, including travel as a central component of that, consumers require odourless solutions allowing the focus to be on the activity not the product.”
