Timberland brand president heads to Wolverine

The company has identified international growth as a key priority, with specific focus in China. Mr Whitney will focus on implementing Wolverine’s strategy for Asia Pacific across its portfolio of brands. He will also be responsible for region-specific initiatives to generate long-term growth.
He arrives at Wolverine from VF-owned outdoor brand Timberland, where he was most recently global brand president. Prior to that he led the brand’s Asia Pacific business.
