EarthColors give Kathmandu hoodies a “vintage casual” look

New Zealand-based outdoor brand Kathmandu has selected Archroma’s EarthColors range of colours for a capsule collection of hoodies. EarthColors is a line of patented plant-based dyes, sourced from up to 100% renewable resources.

Archroma developed EarthColors using non-edible waste products from agriculture and herbal industries to replace petroleum-derived raw materials, giving brands a more natural alternative for dyeing garments. Kathmandu’s belief is that these dyes give its hoodies a “vintage casual” look.

Colours available in the capsule collection include slate blue, burnt olive and burlwood rose.
