Preparations underway for second Saltex exhibition

The event made its debut in October 2016, welcoming 63 exhibitors and around 900 trade visitors from 13 countries. The strong feedback from those who attended last year’s exhibition has convinced the organisers to offer an even more diverse event in 2018.
It will run concurrently with the Dornbirn Man-made Fibres Congress (MFC), a leading symposium related to synthetic fibres. The organisers are exploring the option of a combined admission, there will be frequent bus transfers between the events, and a joint networking evening will be held.
“We’ve quite deliberately positioned Saltex as a leading trade fair in the smart textiles and high-performance materials sector, so as to give these key technologies of the future the appropriate visibility,” explained Thomas Burtscher, project manager of the Saltex exhibition. “Combining a theme-based exhibition with an international symposium offers visitors a unique opportunity to acquire, or develop, exciting insights and contacts in these industries.”
