German industry associations to attend Saltex 2018

The Saltex exhibition, an Austria-based event dedicated to smart textiles, has announced a cooperation agreement with German technical textiles exhibition mtex+ Chemnitz. 

As part of the agreement, the association of North-East German Textile and Clothing Industry will participate at the 2018 edition of Saltex, which takes place from September 12-13 in Dornbirn, Austria. German technical textile industry association IVGT will also attend.

Eight companies from the Austrian region Vorarlberg will exhibit at the next mtex+ exhibition in Chemnitz, Germany from May 29-30. 

Saltex made its debut in October 2016, when it welcomed 63 exhibitors and around 900 trade visitors from 13 countries.

The 2018 edition will put the spotlight on smart textiles and on the development, production and application of high-performance textiles.

It will run concurrently with the Dornbirn Man-made Fibres Congress (MFC), a leading symposium related to synthetic fibres.
