Flocus wins place on Fashion For Good programme

Innovation platform Fashion For Good has included Flocus in a new accelerator programme for start-ups.

China-based Flocus is one of 15 start-ups to have secured a place on the third programme of this kind that Fashion For Good has run. Partner companies including adidas and Kering will work with all participants, mentoring them to help them develop their technologies and business models.

Flocus produces natural yarns, fillings and fabrics made from kapok fibres. The kapok tree grows, without the use of pesticides, in arid soil not suitable for agricultural farming.
