Fashion for Good to support five more companies

12/11/2018
The Fashion for Good initiative, a project that aims to bring together companies from across the supply chain to change how fashion is designed, made, worn and reused, has announced that five new companies have joined its scaling programme.

The new members are:

Ecoactive, which has created a biodegradable high-performance foam made from agricultural waste. It is known as Mycoflex;
Natural Fiber Welding, which has developed a welding process that gives short fibres the performance qualities of extra-long staple virgin fibres;
The Renewal Workshop, an initiative launched to extend the life of returned, damaged or defective post-consumer products;
SeaChange Technologies, which has found a way to eliminate wastewater from the apparel supply chain in a cost-effective manner;
Yerdle Recommerce, the creator of a resale channel that allows brands to buy back and resell used items from their customers.

The partnership with Fashion for Good will give these five companies access to manufacturers, brands and investors who can help fast-track the implementation and adoption of their innovations. They will be supported for a period of 18 months.
