Fresh intake for Fashion for Good accelerator

A total of ten companies have been selected to take part in this fifth intake. They were chosen from hundreds of innovators based on their potential to create solutions that could have a widespread impact on the fashion industry
They will take part in a twelve-week curriculum, which includes mentorship and business development opportunities with Fashion for Good’s corporate partners.
The new companies inducted into the programme are:
• Checkerspot, a technology platform that allows for new materials to be designed at a molecular level;
• Dimpora, which has developed a new waterproof membrane material that is free of harmful chemicals;
• FARFARM, a company that develops responsible fabrics using systems that regenerate nature and communities in Brazil;
• FastFeetGrinded, a project to collect and recycle used shoes into new shoes;
• IndiDye, which has developed a new dyeing method that uses its natural plant-based dyes;
• Indigo Mills Design, which has patented a foam dyeing process that produces zero water discharge and minimal dye waste;
• MonoChain, which has created a blockchain platform that brings primary and resale markets together in order to combat fake products;
• pondTextile, which has developed a plant-based, biodegradable resin that could serve as an alternative to polyester fibres;
• Pure Waste Textiles, which takes offcuts and spinning waste from factories in India and recycles them into yarns;
• VeChain, a blockchain-enabled product management platform that makes it easier for retailers and manufacturers to manage data across their whole supply chain.
