Keen brings back former sales president

He re-joins the company immediately and will be based at Keen’s global headquarters in Portland, where he will assume responsibility for all sales operations related to the OLK business.
Keen’s general manager, Erik Burbank, said Mr Bartels has “a sterling track record in the outdoor industry”. He added that his leadership and experience will help Keen drive the growth of its OLK business.
It is a return to familiar ground for Mr Bartels, who served as Keen’s vice president of sales from 2006-2008. After his time with the brand during its early years, he left to head up the global footwear division of sportswear brand Columbia. His most recent role was as CEO of Canada-based Saxx Underwear.
