Winners of 2019 ISPO Awards named

The international jury, made up of 43 experts from 12 countries, chose winners in five categories: Health & Fitness, Outdoor, Snowsports, Urban, and Team & Social Sports.
The winners for 2019 are:
• Health and Fitness: Life Fitness – Platinum Club Series
A treadmill capable of synchronising with connected devices and applications. Users can choose from a number of international running courses and can see and interact with other runners who are using the same track at the same time.
• Outdoor: Grüezi bag - Biopod DownWool Nature
A sleeping bag made from 100% natural materials, including packaging and buttons. It features a mix of down and wool.
• Snowsports: Mammut – SOTA HS
A three-layer hooded ski jacket featuring a four-way stretch material with a 3D surface. Optimum temperature regulation has been assured through the combination of a 3D knitting technology and PrimaLoft insulation.
• Team and Social Sports: SELECT – Ultimate iBall
An intelligent handball that records data like ball speed, shot detection and the position of the ball. This information is provided to broadcasters to give those watching added insights into the match.
• Urban: Berg Outdoor – Sordo
A fully biodegradable boot that is said to decompose within six months in the right environmental conditions.
